Dual track refers to the simultaneous organization of two structural lines in the body.

Rather than a single line of balance,
the body organizes through paired relationships.

Understanding dual track allows movement to remain stable while changing.

30-Second Practice

Stand comfortably.

Sense the axis through the body.

Now notice two subtle tracks:

one supporting stability
one allowing movement.

Allow both to exist at the same time.

Do not force the sensation.
Simply notice how the body organizes between them.

Stay for about 30 seconds.

What you may notice

  • Stability without stiffness
  • Movement without losing structure
  • A sense of internal coordination

Dual track often appears during rotation or walking.

Common mistakes

  • Trying to feel two lines artificially
  • Forcing symmetry
  • Over-focusing on one side

Dual track emerges naturally when structure is balanced.

Why dual track matters

Without dual track, movement becomes either rigid or unstable.

With dual track,
structure supports motion rather than resisting it.

Next step

Once dual track becomes familiar,
pressure relationships become clearer.

Video Practice

A short demonstration of this structural element will appear here.

For now, focus on the 30-second practice described above.
